Two FMX trailers receive VES Award nomination
The FMX 2013 trailer "Rollin' Safari" and the FMX 2012 trailer "Globosome" have been nominated.
The Visual Effects Society has announced the nominees for its upcoming VES Awards. In the category "Outstanding Visual Effects in a Student Project" two FMX trailers are up for an award: The FMX 2012 trailer "Globosome", created by Sascha Geddert and his team, and the FMX 2013 trailer "Rollin' Safari", directed by Kyra Buschor, Ännie Habermehl and Constantin Paeplow and produced by Valentina Bruening and Philipp Wolf.
Both trailers have been created by students of the Institute of Animation, Effects and Digital Postproduction at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
Two other nominees compete in the same category: "Natalis" - another Filmakademie project - and "Voile Noir." The 11th Annual VES Awards will take place on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Please find all nominees for this year's ceremony on the VES website.
