Florian Gellinger, Owner and Visual Effects Supervisor, RISE | Visual Effects Studios

Florian Gellinger is one of the four founding members of RISE. His work as visual effects supervisor and some of the new techniques he used for the German film "This is Love" directed by Matthias Glasner received overwhelming feedback from the vfx community and made RISE known across the globe. Since then he has supervised the VFX work at RISE on such films as Guy Ritchie's "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", "Cloud Atlas", "Guardians of the Galaxy", "Avengers - Age of Ultron" and most recently "Captain America - Civil War". Currently he is working with director Gore Verbinski on "A Cure for Wellness".

Founded in 2007 by Sven, Robert, Markus and Florian, RISE was just a small room with four computers. Today the company spans four cities, almost 2000 square meters, with 22 full-time staff and more than 100 artists traveling across the globe to work at RISE in Berlin, Stuttgart, Cologne and Vienna.

RISE was founded on the idea of an artist driven visual effects company where passion for outstanding design reigns supreme, creating the highest possible standard of visual effects for cinema and television. To date RISE has contributed visual effects to some of the world's biggest movie franchises including "Captain America - Civil War", Guy Ritchie's "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.", "Avengers - Age of Ultron", "Guardians of the Galaxy" , "Harry Potter" and "Dr. Strange".

The only things that haven't changed since 2007 are Florian, Markus, Robert, Sven, and their passion and dedication to film and top-notch visual effects.
