Jeanette Bonds, Director/ Co-Founder, Glas Animation

Jeanette Bonds is Co-Founder and Director of GLAS Animation, a non-profit organization dedicated to independent animation. She received her BFA and her MFA at CalArts in Experimental Animation. Jeanette is a part of the international animation collective LNWC and currently programs at Slamdnance Film Festival. In the past she co-curated Platform International Animation Festival, worked with Los Angeles Film Festival, and has written for Short of the Week. She has served on the jury for Fantoche, Klik! and Dallas International Film Festival as well as having given talks at Animafest Zagreb, New Chitose Airport Animation Festival, CalArts, and USC. Her works have been featured at both live-action and animation festivals around the world and in 2014 was nominated for an Annie Award. She continues to create works from across the spectrum, including narrative films, abstract films, and installations.

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and the MFG Film Funding, taking place in cooperation with VES Visual Effects Society, ACM SIGGRAPH and the World Building Institute, supported by Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), AMD, AutodeskBackstage, Epic Games and Mackevision. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by the Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Day (APD), a joint venture with the Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS).
