Nami Strack, Founder, Nami Strack Filmton/ Sounddesign

Nami Strack is a freelance Sound Designer with strong references reaching from award winning animated shorts to Dolby Atmos mixing, internationally screened advertising, feature film and games.

Since 2013 Nami is a guest lecturer for sound at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg and monitoring the diploma projects at the Animationsinstitut with vision on sound.

Nami is founder/curator of the Series of Sound Talks at FMX, combining her passion for animation with her experience of making sound related topics accessible to audience with any kind of background, visually or auditory.

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and the MFG Film Funding, taking place in cooperation with VES Visual Effects Society, ACM SIGGRAPH and the World Building Institute, supported by Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), AMD, AutodeskBackstage, Epic Games and Mackevision. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by the Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Day (APD), a joint venture with the Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS).
