Scientific eye candy - renderbaron for ZDF

If high-quality visualizations of scientific subject matter is needed, the professionals at renderbaron are called upon to get the job done. For the ZDF documentary shows 'Abenteuer Wissen' (Learning Adventure) and 'Terra Xpress', renderbaron created spectacular animations that combined classic visualization with visual effects. Studio owner Marc Potocnik gives us a look behind the scenes at the lighting and rendering workflow for 'Scientific eye candy'.

renderbaron is an animation studio based in Düsseldorf, Germany and has been creating high-end 3D animations and visual effects for clients such as Audi, ZDF (German television), Siemens, BMW, Nokia, Wilkinson Sword and others since 2001. renderbaron is run by Marc Potocnik and offers the same high-end quality and dependability that larger studios offer.

renderbaron's references include 3D animations for the ZDF documentary show 'Terra Xpress' and 'Abenteuer Wissen' (Learning Adventure), visualizations for Audi and Siemens as well as television commercials for Wilkinson Sword and Nokia. renderbaron has a proven production pipeline based on CINEMA 4D and up to four production specialists on site.

Founder and owner Marc Potocnik studied communication design at the University of Düsseldorf and has over 17 years of professional experience. He is a MAXON Certified Instructor for lighting and rendering and also lectures at international conferences, most recently at Siggraph 2013 and IBC 2013.
