Andreas Feix

Andreas Feix is a former vfx & animation student of the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. He graduated in 2015 with his short film Citipati, which was awarded in the category „Best Visual Effects in a Student Project“ at the 14th Annual VES Awards.

In the past few years he also worked for several companies within the area of Stuttgart such as Unexpected, Pixomondo and Mackevision, and has participated in a variety of film, television and advertising projects.

Currently he resides in London & is employed as a 2D artist at MPC.

His filmography includes Rush, Stung, the fan film Threads of Destiny as well as the TV series Game of Thrones & Sleepy Hollow.

We work on the spectacular scenes that make movies truly mind blowing. Creating everything from awesome creatures and breath taking environments to futuristic spaceships and explosive destruction sequences.

Our technology allows more than 2000 talented artists and production crew to work on multiple feature films simultaneously across our 5 film locations in London, Vancouver, LA, Bangalore and Montreal.

FMX is funded by the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the State of Baden-Wuerttemberg, the City of Stuttgart and the MFG Film Funding, taking place in cooperation with VES Visual Effects Society, ACM SIGGRAPH and the World Building Institute, supported by Animation Media Cluster Region Stuttgart (AMCRS), AMD, AutodeskBackstage, Epic Games and Mackevision. FMX is an event by the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg, organized by the Animationsinstitut, hosting the Animation Production Day (APD), a joint venture with the Festival of Animated Film Stuttgart (ITFS).
